The Short Version

I'm Sanskar, a software engineer. By day, I work as a platform architect: infrastructure, DevOps, and some CI/CD plumbing that keeps products running smoothly.

After hours I write songs, make contents, and defend Arsenal decisions I can't defend sometimes.

The Day Job

Currently, I work as a platform architect at Smart Data Solutions. Right now, my main focus is assisting with the Java 8 to 21 migration across the codebase which had been ongoing since quite some time. In the past, my work included automating SLA reporting, and integrating Power BI dashboards into the application. Some infra and CI/CD work alongside for the monolith. Before that, I worked at a Kathmandu/USA startup as an SDE: wrote scalable APIs for the main service, built an API proxy that handled JWT auth for all calls, and slotted a Python profanity checker into the search bar for content moderation. Deployed on AWS Elastic Beanstalk and picked up S3, RDS, and EC2 along the way. I started my career in September(2021) as an intern in India, where I assisted my team for building the initial version of the search using Elasticsearch on top of PostgreSQL.

Off the Clock

I did my first stand-up set at eighteen and it went viral on youtube. I've been chasing that laugh ever since, and I still write and perform whenever Kathmandu gives me a stage(although I have been making more contents and doing very few standups these days.)

Football since I was ten: captained teams, won a few local trophies, and I've supported Arsenal long enough to know suffering builds character.
